How the Easy Scan flow works

Each code opens a staff-only Easy Scan page showing the order at a glance — customer, items, status. One tap marks it checked in or completed, with the status change logged on the order like any other WooCommerce update. Any modern phone camera reads the QR codes, so a busy check-in desk is just a phone; for higher volume, USB and wireless barcode scanners work out of the box.

Codes are generated on your own server, on demand, for every order — including orders placed before you installed the plugin — with no external API calls and nothing added to your storefront pages.

You choose where codes appear (order emails, thank-you page, order details, invoices) and which barcode format fits your hardware — QR for phone-camera scanning, or Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, and Code 11 for laser scanners.
